DESCRIPTION: Annual Wekiva Island Seafood Boil \nBenefitting the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens \nSaturday\, November 7 | 4–7 PM \nThere’s just something about a November evening on the Wekiva River\, a big pile of steaming seafood\, a cold beer in your hand and a few wild friends stopping by to say hello. \nJoin us for one of our favorite Wekiva Island traditions — the Annual Seafood Boil benefitting the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens! \nWe’re teaming up with 3 Daughters Brewing to serve up a proper riverside feast. Your $45 ticket includes a hearty helping of: \n A pound of jumbo shrimp\n Steamed clams\n Corn\n Potatoes\n Sausage\n Three pours of 3 Daughters Brewing beer \nGrab a seat along the river\, roll up your sleeves and dig in — because this is definitely not a white-tablecloth kind of dinner. \nThroughout the evening\, we’ll be joined by some special animal ambassadors from the Central Florida Zoo\, plus we’ll have raffles and a silent auction with proceeds helping support the Zoo and the incredible animals in its care. \nIt’s good food without the fuss\, cold beer\, Florida wildlife\, river views and a whole lot of fun for a cause that means so much to us. \nSo bring your appetite\, bring your friends and come spend a fall evening with us on the river. \nPeel some shrimp. Raise a glass. Meet something wild.
