The Mike Barr Education Center (Classroom) is about 20’ by 40’ and is a very special space. This building is a LEED Platinum building – which means that it is the highest level of “green”. This room has a men’s and a women’s restroom on the backside of the building as well as a water fountain. It is also air-conditioned & cooled by the river. It is really a beautiful space and you must see it in person to truly appreciate it. The deck can be rented individually if the classroom is not booked by calling the reservation line at 407-913-5441.

 

The “Sanctuary Deck” is the back deck of the “Barr Education Center” is about 20’x20′ it has nice high end furniture and  The Sanctuary Deck sits over the water along the river next to the bridge.  Please note, due to maintaining the safety of our patrons, there is no jumping from the bridge allowed.

*BOOKING INSTRUCTIONS

Please select the date then time and type of event rental to complete the order. 

All rental times start when our doors open at 8 AM and with all our venues, it ends at 5 pm.  If you would like to request an extended stay, please make your request to your booking representative, but please note that we can only approve an extended stay until one hour before the close of the Island. Feel free to access this reserved event space starting at our normal operating hours of 8 AM.

 

All Cabana and Rental space parties should be started BY 9 am on weekends from March to September to insure your invited guests will be able to enter Wekiva Island as our parking lot fills early on weekends during peak season.

 

*Cancellation Policy

Once booked Wekiva Island does not accept cabana cancellations for a full refund. Cabana cancellations are subject to a 20% cancellation fee (if notice is given more than 24 hours in advance so that the Island can add it back into inventory for resale), if cabana cancellation notice is within a 24-hour window prior to rental date, the cancellation will be subject to a 50% cancellation charge. If you reschedule your party to a future date that is no expiration and no penalty.
