This was my first visit to Wekiva Island and I was amazed at the fun, organization, activities and options for families here! It looks like the PERFECT place for a family outing. Make sure you get there early, stake out your place or get a gazebo and bring food for a bbq and your toys. Just remember, no coolers and no alcohol. However, they rent coolers to anyone interested. Have fun!

Wekiva Island was the perfect spot for us to take or international teen student group this summer! Mary and her staff were very generous and made our visit amazing! We hung out in the Sand Cabana, canoed up to Wekiwa State Park and back, and enjoyed a delicious lunch from the "Without a Paddle" Food Truck! We could not have asked for a better time and our students loved it! It didn't hurt that they saw alligators while canoeing!!! Thanks Mary and Staff for a great time!

We had a company sales meeting here on 6/24/22. Mary was very sweet accommodating us even though we called last minute. All of the cabanas were booked so we rented the balcony overlooking the river and it was perfect! It was much larger than what it looks like in photos and it was super easy and laid back. They provided vouchers for meals at the food truck and that was so much easier than grilling! Everyone got to eat when they felt like it throughout the day. Highly recommend!

Awesome. Took my 7yr son canoeing. Super easy, clean, not crowded at all. They temp check before entering. The canoe ride was so relaxing and peaceful. Lots of wildlife to see. Beautiful. My son had a blast!
