Wekiva Island is the perfect place to enjoy outdoor activities in Orlando. Paddleboard Orlando at Wekiva Island offers canoe, kayak, and paddleboard rentals. Rentals are first come, first served; we do not take reservations. You can also join a paddle tour, plan a corporate outing, or launch your own vessel.

All vessels must be returned by 6 p.m. the day of the rental and all vessel renters must complete our waiver.

Canoe, kayak, and paddleboard rentals at Wekiva Island are available on a first-come, first-served basis — we do not accept reservations.

Things To Remember

We are excited that you chose Wekiva Island for your next getaway on the river. We ask that anyone who expects to rent a canoe, kayak or paddleboard fill out the water waiver form below. This can also be done upon arrival at Wekiva Island. We do not take reservations in advance, as our vessels are on a first-come, first-served basis. Unaccompanied minors are not allowed to rent Wekiva Island vessels.

No Pets

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at Wekiva Island or on vessels.
Coolers & Alcohol

While coolers are not allowed on The Island, you are allowed a small cooler on your vessel. However, alcohol is strictly prohibited on the Wild & Scenic Wekiva River—no exceptions. Remember, keep the river clean and bring all your trash back.

Bring Your Own

Launches

Looking to launch your own canoe, kayak, paddleboard, large inflatable, or boat (25 HP or less) on the Wekiva River? We offer convenient, year-round launch options from Wekiva Island. If you’d like to park your car and self-shuttle to another location on the river, it is $25 , and vehicles must be removed by closing time, which varies. Please note: dogs are not permitted at Wekiva Island or on vessels.
