A PLACE TO SLOW DOWN
ON THE WEKIVA RIVER
Your mornings have a new home.
The Early Otter brings a new kind of gathering place to Wekiva Island. Grab your favorite cup from our riverside coffee bar, pull up a chair, and make yourself comfortable. A place to meet, linger, work, and enjoy a little more of what Wekiva has to offer.
Before the river fully awakes...
The best mornings begin before the world gets busy. Before the river is filled with paddlers and the day picks up pace, there’s a quiet moment waiting for you. A fresh cup of coffee, the sounds of nature, and a front-row seat to watch the Wekiva River awaken.
But the morning is only the beginning. Come by for a slow start, stay for the river, and make yourself at home throughout the day.

Why is The Early Otter plastic-free?
We love the Wekiva River, so we’re thoughtful about what we bring into our space and what we send back out. At The Early Otter, we’ve chosen alternatives to traditional plastic for our coffee cups and lids.
Our cold drinks are served in Tossware cups made from plant-based PLA, a renewable alternative to traditional plastic. For hot drinks, we use paper cups with biodegradable, compostable bamboo lids that are PFAS-free.
It’s one of the ways we’re working to create a more sustainable, plastic-free coffee shop in Orlando, with less waste and a lighter footprint.
