This Saturday, Wekiva Island will be closed until 5:00 p.m. for our annual Fall Egg Fest. We’d love for you to join the fun—grab your ticket and be part of the festivities. After 5:00 p.m., the Island will reopen and welcome guests as usual.
Winter Wonderland at Wekiva Island is one of our favorite times of the year. Originally started as a boat parade with a massive turnout, the event has developed into an Orlando holiday tradition for many families. The owners of Wekiva Island hail from Western New York, so this event is their chance to bring a taste of that northern snow to Florida.
With a REAL snow slide and snow flurries floating around the Island, Winter Wonderland definitely delivers. The event also features regular visits from Santa and Mrs. Claus, as well as from favorite holiday characters like Buddy the Elf and The Grinch. There are also FREE weekly movies on the big screen with popcorn and hot cocoa available for purchase.
In addition to the regular fun, Winter Wonderland includes several special ticketed events, like Breakfast with Santa and our VIP Party, which includes a delicious spread of food and drinks. You can see our full schedule here.
