Join us at Wekiva Island for a fun, family-friendly Halloween Parade Paddle on the Wekiva River! Dress up in your scariest, silliest or favorite costume and paddle with us for a Halloween adventure in Central Florida.
Prizes will be awarded for Best Costume, Most Creative Costume and Best Group Theme, so grab your paddleboard, kayak and paddle pals and get creative!
Bring your own board and costume and this event is free to attend.
Need a Paddleboard?
Hard board rentals are available for just $25. RSVP and prepayment are required for hard board rentals. Day-of-event rentals for paddleboards and kayaks will also be available at our regular on-site rental rates.
Halloween Parade Paddle Schedule
10:30 AM: Paddleboard and kayak launching begins.
Our judging panel will be riverside in front of the fire pit from 10:30–11:15 AM. Every paddler who passes the judges during this time will be eligible for one of our fabulous prizes!
We’ll paddle upriver to Wekiwa Springs State Park, where we’ll take a quick break and capture a fantastic group photo from the bridge. Then, make your way back to Wekiva Island at your own pace.
After your paddle, stick around for lunch at Without a Paddle Café and a beverage from the Tooting Otter Craft Beer & Wine Bar.
This Halloween paddle is a fun and unique way to kick off the season with friends and family. Come paddle the Wild & Scenic Wekiva River and celebrate Halloween at one of the best places to paddleboard in Orlando!
