House Rules
CABANA & EVENT SPACE RENTALS
Please take time to carefully review our house rules before your arrival and share them with your party to ensure you have a fun and relaxing day at Wekiva Island. If any of these items are not properly followed, you may be asked to leave without refund.
⏰ Arrival: Please check in at the bar when you arrive. Cabana rentals are from 8 AM to 5 PM. There is an entrance fee of $5 per person on weekends and holidays.
🚖 Parking: Each Cabana comes with 1 to 3 marked parking spots, depending on the Cabana rental. Please park in front of the marked post for your cabana. Be sure to pull up close to your post so second and third vehicles can fit behind you.
Encourage your guests to carpool and arrive early! When parking reaches capacity, we cannot allow more cars in until others leave. Unfortunately, there is no off-site parking and guests cannot enter on foot once we are at capacity.
During our high season from March 1 to September 30, we recommend arriving before 9 AM on Saturdays and 10 AM on Sundays if your party will need more than the parking spaces provided. We reach capacity quickly.
🍔 Food & Drink: Six water bottles will be provided in the cabana cooler. You may also bring a personal cooler for non-alcoholic beverages and food. This cooler must be brought in the car(s) that are in the assigned parking spot and are subject to search. No other food or drink is allowed to be brought in from the general parking lot.
No outside grills may be brought in; however, gas grills are included with your cabana rental. You will need to bring your own grilling tools and food. You may also utilize our exclusive on-site caterer, Without a Paddle Café, who can provide you and your party with delicious menu options. Per our development order, outside caterers are not allowed to drop off food service to the Island.
🚫 No outside alcohol of any kind is permitted on Wekiva Island or the Wekiva River. This is the law.
Craft beer and wine can be purchased at our on-site bar. Please note that cabana servers are only available on the weekends and holiday weekdays.
Bad Behavior/Destruction of Property: Any destruction of property may result in additional fees. We have a zero-tolerance policy for fighting, illegal activities, or inappropriate language. Please be mindful of noise, as children may be nearby. No marijuana or hookah use is allowed, even with a medical marijuana card.
There is no smoking allowed under any tent or cabana, or within 25 feet of any building. This is a fire code. You are welcome to smoke in open, secluded areas, we just ask that you be mindful of other guests and families. Please properly dispose of and put out cigarettes.
🎈 Decor: The health of the Wekiva River is very important to us. Please help us keep plants and animals thriving by not bringing confetti or balloons. We also ask that you refrain from taping any signs or displays to the cabana, as they can create potential litter or environmental impact.
Personal Items & Equipment: You may bring folding chairs and beach umbrellas (one pole; not four legs like a pop-up tent). Guests at The Point Cabana may put up a pop-up tent, but this is the only spot where this is allowed. No additional tents are allowed. To ensure all guests (and wildlife) have an enjoyable experience, bluetooth speakers are not allowed at Wekiva Island. Please do not bring them, as you will be asked to put them back in your vehicle.
Cancellation Policy: There is a 50% fee for any next day or same day cancellations or 20% prior to that. There is no penalty if you decide to reschedule. We will do our best to make the new date work for your schedule but it is subject to availability. Our weekends stay booked up from March to September, so we advise booking early.
