Before You Arrive

We can’t wait to welcome you to Wekiva Island—one of the most unique Orlando FL attractions, where you can experience the real Florida. The entrance fee is $5 per person during peak times. We reach capacity early, especially in the summer, so arriving early is highly recommended. We rent our vessels by the day on a first-come, first-served basis and do not take reservations. Outside food and drinks are only allowed if you’ve rented a cabana or are on a vessel, and alcohol is never permitted to be brought onto the property. We look forward to seeing you on the river soon.

Wekiva Island recently acquired Paddleboard Orlando, and it couldn’t have been a more natural fit. Ned’s business has always been like part of the family, so making it official just made sense. The Wekiva River is hands-down one of the most beautiful paddling spots in Central Florida, so we decided to focus all our energy here. It’s a place where we can truly give our paddlers the best possible experience.

Unlike other Orlando FL attractions, we offer nature, adventure, and relaxation all in one spot—just 20 minutes from downtown Orlando and easily accessible from I-4. Wekiva Island is a quick escape that feels a world away, perfect for a day trip.
