The Elf Lounge – Santa’s Crew Deserves a Break, Too!
Even Santa’s hardest-working elves need a place to kick up their pointy shoes, grab a snack, and recharge before heading back to the workshop!
This holiday season, sneak away to The Elf Lounge at Wekiva Island, a whimsical pop-up holiday cabana inspired by the secret spot where Santa’s elves go when they’re officially off the clock. Filled with colorful Christmas décor, twinkling lights, cozy seating, sweet treats, and just the right amount of North Pole mischief, The Elf Lounge is the perfect private holiday hideaway for families and friends.
The star of the lounge is The Jolly Pop Stop, a build-your-own holiday popcorn bar where guests can pile freshly popped popcorn high with festive mix-ins like Reindeer Droppings, Snowman Buttons, Jingle Bell Crunch, North Pole Snowballs, Candy Cane Crush, and Elf Confetti.
Add in Barnie’s Coffee, a festive hot cocoa bar and all the comforts of your own private cabana, and you have everything you need to spend the day relaxing like an elf who just clocked out after a very long shift at Santa’s Workshop.
Wekiva Island’s Elf Lounge holiday pop-up is available from Nov. 20 until Jan. 3.

Restrictions to Keep in Mind
- No outside alcohol: Alcohol is strictly prohibited on Wekiva Island and the Wekiva River. Only non-alcoholic beverages are allowed to be brought in.
- No catered/delivered food: Feel free to bring food to grill and enjoy, but please note that outside catered or delivered food is not permitted.
- No dogs allowed: Dogs are not permitted on Wekiva Island or our vessels.
- Decor: To help protect the river, latex balloons, and confetti are not allowed. Additionally, please refrain from using tape on signs or displays inside the cabana.
Cancellation Policy
Once booked, Wekiva Island does not offer full refunds for Cabana cancellations. Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance are subject to a 20% fee, as this allows us to resell the cabana. Cancellations within 24 hours of the rental date will incur a 50% fee. If you reschedule your event to a future date, there are no penalties or expiration dates.
