Step into your own private paradise at Wekiva Island, just minutes from Orlando! Our newly renovated VIP Cabana is the perfect private oasis for your group’s day on the water. Ideal for celebrations, family gatherings, or simply treating yourself to the best spot on the Island, this exclusive cabana rental near Orlando combines comfort, style, and convenience for the ultimate outdoor experience.

The VIP Cabana offers a spacious 12’ x 24’ area that comfortably accommodates up to 25 guests. You’ll receive 25 wristbands granting your group private access to this exclusive space. To ensure a pleasant experience for everyone, guests without wristbands will be kindly asked to leave the cabana area.

Relax on comfortable outdoor patio furniture, surrounded by enhanced privacy features designed for your comfort and relaxation. The cabana comes equipped with a beverage refrigerator stocked with six bottles of water, plus a gas grill and summer kitchen—with gas provided, so you just need to bring your favorite grilling utensils. Feel free to bring food to grill and enjoy, but please note that outside catered or delivered food is not permitted.

Located just behind the main row of cabanas along the peaceful Wekiva River canal, the VIP Cabana boasts a large sandy area perfect for lounging or playing by the water. The water here is shallow and calm, making it a safe and fun environment for all ages to enjoy a true Florida riverside experience. 

You can also make the most of your day with your private fire pit. Simply contact your concierge representative to add the Fire Pit Package to your booking and enjoy the full VIP experience during Island hours.

Booking Instructions

Please select your desired date, ensuring it’s the correct day for your booking. Then, choose the time and event type (Personal or Corporate) to complete your reservation.

Planning Your Visit

• Rates: $325 on weekdays (Monday–Thursday) and $425 on weekends and holidays (Friday–Sunday).
  
• Rental period: All rentals are available from our gate opening at 8 AM until 5 PM. You’re welcome to access your reserved cabana or event space during these hours. Please note that special events may extend beyond 5 PM, but any such requests must be approved by your Leisure or Corporate representative.
• Peak season arrival time: To ensure your guests can enter Wekiva Island, all Cabana and rental space events should begin by 9 AM on weekends from March through September. Our parking lot fills up quickly during peak season, and there are no exceptions if you want all of your guests to be able to park and attend. 
• Parking: Your Cabana includes three (3) reserved and marked parking spots for the day. Any additional guests should plan to park on-site, as parking fills up quickly—typically by 9 AM in peak season (March through September). We encourage carpooling, when possible, to make the most of the space.

Restrictions to Keep in Mind

• No outside alcohol: Alcohol is strictly prohibited on Wekiva Island and the Wekiva River. Only non-alcoholic beverages are allowed to be brought in.
• No dogs allowed: Dogs are not permitted on Wekiva Island or our vessels.
• Decor: To help protect the river, latex balloons, and confetti are not allowed. Additionally, please refrain from using tape on signs or displays inside the cabana.

Cancellation Policy

Once booked, Wekiva Island does not offer full refunds for Cabana cancellations. Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance are subject to a 20% fee, as this allows us to resell the cabana. Cancellations within 24 hours of the rental date will incur a 50% fee. If you reschedule your event to a future date, there are no penalties or expiration dates.
